Palazzo del Dazio

It is a solid sixteenth century construction on two floors with a frontal façade that is enriched by a colonnade held up by robust columns that bear a coat of arms on the capital. The palace stands adjacent to the "Muda Bridge", the only transit point on the Venice-Udine Street and place of control for the payment of duty on the goods in transit from and for the Friuli. From 1929-30, the palace is only 50 m. from the river bed following the deviation of the Meschio River for reinforcement works on the embankments.
